A Refugee

Merely fools would contempt migrants seeking refuge from misery
They may stand among elite despite how they look feeble and weary

Mohammad, Joseph or Moses, all were forced to migrate
In spreading the word of God, how they suffered and agitate

Rumi, Einstein and Afghani, renowned for their rationale and humane
Were to be amongst the refugees at the peak of their fame

True, they came with no wealth, cultivated gardens or palaces
Nevertheless, they brought fertile minds and intellects determined for solaces
